OBITUARIES ARTHUR CARR Arthur Carr of Mississauga, and formerly of Concession 12, McKillop Township died Sunday, October 25, 1987 at his home. He was 78. . Mr. Carr is survived by one daughter, Carol (Mrs. Bruce Wilks) and two sons, Donald and Bryan, all of Mississauga. Also surviving are four grandchildren, one brother Gordon Schindler of Preston, Cambridge and one sister Neola (Mrs. Bill Makins) of St. Pauls, Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn in June of 1982. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Oc- tober 27 from the Skinner -Middlebrook Funeral Home, Lake Shore Road, Mississauga. Burial was in Westminster Cemetery, Bathurst and Finch, Toronto. HAROLD THOMAS BOLGER Harold Thomas Bolger of Walton died Tuesday, October 27, 1987 at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. He was 74. Mr. Bolger is survived by his wife, the former Elva Mae Pryce; two daughters, • Shirley (Mrs. Robert Lillycoat) of London and Jean (Mrs. Bill Hutchison) of Listowel; and one son, Larry and his wife Faye of Blyth. Also surviving are, one sister Marguerite Sanderson of Brussels, one brother-in-law Earl Watson of Huronview and six grandchildren. Mr. Bolger was predeceased by two step sisters. A funeral service was held October 29 at the Brussels Chapel, M.L. Watts Funeral Homes, with the Reverend Bonnie Lamble officiating. Interment was in Brussels Cemetery. FREDA BENNEWIES Freda tennewies of Mitchell and formerly of McKillop Township died Wednesday, October .28, 1987 at the Seaforth Community Hospital. She was 91. The former Freda Kahle she was born in Logan Township on February 1, 1896 to the late Adolph Kahle and the former Fredericka Siemon, On June 15, 1916 she was married to William J. Bennewies. Following their marriage the couple farni- ed at Lot 1, Concession 9 of McKillop TOwnship. Mrs, Bennewies moved to Mit- ehell to live with her son Fred in May 1986, She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhagen. Surviving are three sons, Harvey and his wife Gertie of Kitchener, Ivan and his wife Marjorie of RR 1 Bornholm and Fred of Mitchell; two daughters, Ellen her hus- band Alvin Schellenberger of Mitchell and Vera and her husband Milton Lindner of Monkton; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bennewies was predeceased by her husband William on November 28, 1980, two sons Lloyd and Roy (both 1927), one grandson, One great grandson, a daughter- in-law Hazel Bennewies and a son -In-law Wilfred Pehlke. She was the last surviving Member of her immediate family having been predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell until noon On Saturday when transfer was made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhagen for the funeral service. Reverend Arthur Horst Officiated. The church choir Wet in attendance and sang They Who Sow In Tear& accompanied by Cols Bennewies at the organ. Pallbearers were Robert, Dale and Richard Bennewies, Howard and Ron Pehlke and David .Sehellenberger, all Otindsons, Interment was in St. Peters Lutheran dernetery. Expressions of sympathy were shown through floral tributes and memorial donations to St. Peter's Church ImptoVe. Inent and Cemetery funds, Grace Lutheran Building fund, Stratford General Hospital Building and C.T. Sean funds, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Redeemer Lutheran Church Par- Stotage fund, MOnkton, St. Catharines Seminary and the Huren-Perth Lung ASsociation. , PEOPLE ***** Mr.. and Mrs. Stewart of Waterloo were re- cent visitors with Mrs. Ure Stewart, MX.* Zena Wigley of Southampton, England has returned home after a visit to her parents, Charlie arid Peggy Perkins of RR 1 Seaforth. Carl and Eleanor Hemingway have returned home from a three-week visit with their son Don and Family in Boissevain, Manitoba. Rose Marie McQuaid, Madonna and Carol. Ann of Seaforth and Marjorie Lofft of St. Mary's attended the first Symphony Perfor- mance for -1987 at Wilfrid Laurier University, on Sunday. Anne Marie McQuaid was the Concertmaster. Victor Feld Brill was Conductor, a former Conductor of the London Symphony Or- chestra.
