couple now reside at RR 4 Walton.
GROOT-ROBINSON '
Jeannette Groot and Scott Robinson were
married on Saturday, September 19, 1987 at
All Saintsoman . Catholic Church,
Strathroy by Father Nelson Cabral. The "
bride is the daughter of Katriena Groot and
the late Adrian Groot of Strathroy. The
groom is the son of Bob and Rose Robinson
of Walton.. Maid of honor was Wendy
Gaskell • of Strathroy, friend of the bride.
Best man was Brad Rice of London, friend
of the groom. Guests were 'ushered by Nick.

of Goderich, aunt, of the bride, and Cathy
Meidinger, sister of the groom, Mary Jean
- Colfax, friend of .the bride and Carol
Meidinger,sister-in-law of thegroom, all of
London. Junior bridesmaid was Teresa Jef-
frey of Kingsville„ daughter of the groom.
Best man was Steve Qosterbosch ' of
Seaforth, friend of the groom and guests
were ushered by Frank Meidinger of Lon
don, brother of the groom, Mike Caldwell of
Exeter, friend of the groom; Terry Dale of
Seaforth, friend of the groom and Brian and
Kevin Cooper of Egmondville, both brothers
of the bride. Organist was Mary Kreutz-
wiserand soloist was • Chris Caldwell. A
reception was held at the Royal Canadian
Legion, Seaforth and Tony Meidinger,
brother of the groom acted as Master of
Ceremonies. The couple honeymooned in

OBITUARIES
ROSE O'REILLY
Rose O'Reilly died Wednesday,
September 23, 1987 at the age of 72.
The former Rose MeladY she is survived
by 'children Joseph O'Reilly of London and
Frank, 'Jack, ,Michael, Rose, Dennis and.•
Colleen O'Reilly and ' Mary Waryick and
Jean Ludwig, all of Kitchener.
Also surviving are a sister Dorothy Har -
back and brothers; Edward of Dublin,
' Fergus 'of Belle River and Thomas of
Goderich; 21 grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Reilly was predeceased by her
husband Joseph O'Reilly in 1983, and by one
son Armand of Hamilton in 1986..,

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St.
Mary's -Roman Catholci Cathedral, Kit-
chener. Interment followed 'at Woodland
Cemetery.

thank God for the safe arrival of their little
daughter Sarah Anne, born at St. Joseph's
Hospital, London on October 3, 1987,
weighing 7 lbs., 13 ozs. Sarah is welcomed at

Needlework displayed
at Ladies Aid meeting
The Ladies Aid of First Presbyterian
Church, Seaforth held its regular meeting
on Tuesday October 6.
Mrs. Frank Riley opened the meeting with
Prayer, gave a reading "If you ask me” and
,conducted a contest. Scripture lesson and
meditation, was read by Mrs. Bill Dale, who
also gave two readings on "Quilting" and
"Success". Hymns appropriate to • the
season were sung and Mrs. Lorne Lawson,
President, took charge for the business
Section.
Seven ladies answered the roll call with
"something to be thankful for this year".
Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Dale displayed some
of their needlework and served lunch.
