Mrs, Joe Delaney, Mrs. Joe Nolan and
Jeremiah Murray spent their annual visit
this weekend with their brethers and their
wives Mr. and Mrs. JoeMurray and Mr. and
Mrs. Cyril Murray in Kitchener.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Benninger and Sister
Marie Brebeuf and Sister Grace were -up to
visit Sister Therese Scharblack at
Riversdale.
A successful walk a dog a thon .was -held
under sunny skies ori Sunday afternoon, Ap-,
• proximately 15 dogs -and their owners walk-
ed a total of 10 km, with Scqtt Wilson of Mit
-
ellen the first to return. Pledges and dona-
tions will -go to help benefit Canine Vision. of
Canada, which is dog guides for the visually
Unpaired. This was sponsored by the
• Dublin, Seafarth and Mitchell Lions clubs.
The Turner Females Cousins Club met at
the home of Eileen MacRae for their fall
o reunion on Saturday, October 3rd. Cousins
present were Anna O'Donnell, Toronto,
Marie Sutherland, Woodstock, Donna
Gatenby,- Kitcheuer, Joyce 1VICKay, Beth
-McKewn,-Stratford:- -Anne Frances, -Mit-
chell, had another committment.
My mother, Mrs. Ada Davidson of the Ritz
Villa, the last surviving mother of- all the
cousins was able- to be with us and she
always enjoys the reminiscing and the ex-
change of crafts during the afternoon.

McKillop No. 4, 4-H Club held its first
meeting on September 22 at the home of
Janneke Murray.
The topic for this club is "Taste of On-
tario's Fruits and Vegetables".
• After roll call the Members discussed the
kinds of fruits and vegetables grown in On-
tario and the importance of them in dur
lives, Officers for this club are, president,
Sherri Maloney, vice-president Sandra
Classens. secretary Tanya Vansteelandt,
treasurer Sharon Kelly and press reporter
Franciscan Friar of Mary Immaculate from
the Exeter area for 11 a.m. mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jones of Mac Tier with
Mr. and Mrs. Patty McGrath on the
weekend.
Mrs. Millie Evans was in London last
week with daughter and son-in-law Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Cleary. , ••
Mr. and -Mrs. Tom Print r and two boys
from Kingston and Mr. and Mrs. David
Brown and family of Shakespeare were with
.their parents Mr. and Mrs. Herb Brovvrr on
the weekend.

held their second, meeting on September 29
at Cora De Vries' home.
The topic for this meeting was on the
grading of frozen and processed fruits and
vegetables. Members learned the difference

Erland Lee (Museum) Horne at Stoney
Creek on Thursday, and tater visited with

her home on WEdnesday, September 30.

be the Voting delegate for Staffa Women's
Institute and Doris Miller and Roberta
Templeman will provide gifts- fer the craft
table.
Everyone observed a minute's silence in
memory of Doreen Chappel, who died
August 9, 1987,
The October meeting was reviewed with
Esther Smale offering her home as the
meeting place.
Everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch served by
Joyce Vivian and Doris Miller.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
The family of Orpha Norris honored her
on her 85th birthday with a dinner held in the
Family Life Center on Saturday.
