Joan Cornelia Guichelaar and Martin
Luiting were married Saturday, Septelinber
5, 1987 at Free Reformed Church, Mitchell
by the Reverend T. Joannides. The bride' is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin
Guichelaar of RR 4 Seaforth and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Luiting:of Si..
Thomas. Matron of honor was Linda Pol of.
Stratford, sister. of the bride and
bridesmaids were Marilyn Pennings of Staf
fa, sister of the bride, Diane Terpstra of
Strathroy, friend of the bride and Barbara
DeVries of Sebringville, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Christine Poi,- of Stratford,
niece of the bride, Best man was$ill Luiting
of St. Thomas, brother of the groom and
guests were ushered by Brian Guichelaar of
RR 4 Seaforth, brother of the bride, Tom
Versteeg of St. Thomas, friend of the groom
and Pete Brabbel of Mississauga, friend of
the groom. Organist was Grace Tamminga
of Troy and soloist was Connie Groeneweg
of St. Thomas. She was accompanied by Liz
Nymeyer of St. Thomas. Following a recep-
tion iitthe Seaforth and District Community
Centres the couple took a wedding trip to
British Columbia and Alberta. They now

Carol McIntosh and Bob Leeming were
married Saturday, August 15, 1987 at the
home of the bride's parents by the Reverend
Cheryl Ann Stadeibauer•Sampa. Marriage
vows were exchanged beneath an archway
of yellow button mums and purple
miniature carnations. The bride is the
daughter of Jim and Brenda McIntosh of RR
4 Seaforth and the groom is the son of Bill
Leeming of Listowel. Maid of honor was
Jane Robinson of RR 4 Walton and
bridesmaids were Jane Morton of Seaforth
and Lisa Newey of Toronto. Best man was
Bob Axtmann of Listowel and guests were
ushered by Rob Boyes bf Bayfield and Ross
McIntosh of RR 4 Seaforth. Soloist was
Graeme Craig and organist was Marion
Rose. Following a honeymoon trip through
the Georgian Lakelands the couple are
residing at RR 4 Seaforth.

1987 in Belgrave United Chateh. The bride is
the daughter of Murray and WIhtia Scott of

at Seaforth Manor.
"Flowers for all, occasions" was the
theme of the Flower Show. held' at the
Seaforth Manor Monday evening. Some 60 •
residents, visitors and staff attended. Steve
Hildebrand of Hildebrand Flowers made
eight different arrangements which were
given out as prizes. .
' 'Winnie .the corsage for birthday of the
day. was Edith Salo, who celebrated her bir-
thday September 21. Otherarrangments
were won by Mabel Handy, Mamie Ross,
Len .Bloomfield, Mary Chapple; Betty

Finlayson to.Steve and all who attended..
Tuesday morning student volunteers from
Seaforth Public School assisted 'with
wheelchair bowling in the activity room.
This program with studenf volunteers has
been most successful during the fall, winter
and spring months. On Tuesday afternoon
two. films, "The Grandmother" and "Old
Kentucky. Moon" were viewed, •
Wednesday afternoon Rev, ,J. Vanslyke
conducted worship services with Grace
Smith accompanying at the piano.•for the.
hymns. '
._On_Thursday "Geri Fashions" of London
visited with their showing of wearing ap-
parelI: Residents, staffs and guests were
able to view and purchase winter clothing.
. Monday was exercises for fun. and fitness
in the morning and alley. bowling in the
afternoon. .
Bingo was held on Friday afternoon and
bingo winners were Harold Maloney,
Margaret Smale, Marnie Ross, Alfie Sykes
Frank Smale, Wilma Brill, •Bill Connolly,
Irene Omand, Elmer Bakcsy, Dennis
Arney, Margeurite Shill, I'la Gardner,
Cassie Nicholson, Eva Netzke . and Doris

Visiting with Len Bloomfield were his
sister Lorraine Swan df Goderich and her
daughter Sherri Littlechild and Lori.

. Annette Blom and Ron Hak were married,
-Saturday,_ August _15,:1987_at Boniface
Roman Catholic Church, Zurich by the
Reverend Father John Van Den Hengel, un-
cle of the groom. He was assisted by
Reverend Father Paul Mooney. The bride is
the daughter of Niek and Annie Blom of Kip -
Pen and the groom is the son of Barry and
Catherine Hak of Seaforth. Matron of honor
was Willy Groothuis,sister of the bride and
bridesmaids were Elizabeth Moir, Mary
Dubeck and Rita Savauge, all sisters of the •
bride. Best man was Mike Hak,' brother of
the groom and guests were ushered by Ken
and Paul Hak, brothers of .the groom and
Richard Verberne, brother-in-law of the
groom, Music was provided by Piet and
Rbse Lpomans, uncle and aunt of the groom
and Joe Verberne, friend of the. bride and'
groom. A reception followed at theiensall
Community Centre. The couple honeymoon-
ed in British Coluthbia and Alberta for two
weeks and are residing in Kitchener.

Thursday.

Dave Netzke enjoyed an afternoon out to
the Clinton Legion on Saturday .accom-
panied by Cleave Coombs.
Visiting with•Helen Morris.were Tom, Jim
and Bill Nigh, also son Bill and his wife
Janice who took Helen out for a drive on
Sunday. Helen commented on how the trees
were changing colors and leaves' starting to•
fall. • •

General Hospital, and to Wilson Blanchard
