The Robert Nicholson Construction Com-
pany Ltd. of Sebringville was awarded the
tender Tuesday by Tuckersmith Township
council for the construction Of the North
• Street storm drain' in Egmondville.
The Nicholson-tender-for-$101-776/50-was--

and Associates of Goderich attended the
meeting to assist council in checking the
tenders for accuracy.
Tenders will be called for sandblasting the
upper portion of the bridge on Sideroad
25-26, Concession 2, • Huron Road survey
(Brig -end Bridge). While sandblasting is be-
ing carriedout the road will be closed to
traffic.
Council authorized the replacement of ap-
proximately 200 feet ofsanitary sewers on
Crescent Drive in Vanastra with the cost be-
ing taker{ out of the sewage reserve account.
Passed for approval were the following
accounts: Day Care Centre at Vanastra,
$7,765.82; special Day Care Centre,
$8,604.29; Vanastra Recreation Centre,
$13,313.48; roads $44,635.48 and general ac-
counts, $36,570.55 for - a total amount of
$110,889.62.
The Tbwnship of Tuckersmith will enter
• into an operating agreement with the
Minstry'of Housing to provide funds under
the Ontario Home Program in order to serve
the housing needs of disabled persons.
Council approved a tile drainage loan for
$12,000 to a ratepayer.

The. Huron County Plowing Match is fast
approaching. This year's Match will be held
at the farm of the Honourable Jack Riddell,
M.P.P., Huron - located in Stephen
Township. The Match - is set for Friday,
September 4.
