PAINT STRIPPERS -A century -old home on Goderich Street is being renovated by its
owners. Art and Cindy Larivee. also owners of Auctions Unlimited, decided to restore
the house to its original state last Year and began by stripping the paint from the clap-
board siding. John Gould, lett, and Paul Hoste use a propane torch to take layers of
paint from the boards. Look for a story in a future edition of The Expositor, complete

About 70 descendants of the late Thomas
and Elizabeth Murray attended the annual
Murray reunion at the Brodhagen and
District Community Centre on Sunday,

for Mrs. Sipek by her son Father Andrew.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith and Mr.' and
Mrs. Fred Smith spent a week at Camp
Haven, Monetville, recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Stevenson accom-
panied Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Cummins,
Toronto on -a two week holiday touring the
Maritime Provinces.
On Saturday, July 25 Mr. and Mrs. Mur-
ray Crawford attended the wedding of their
niece Laurie Michelle Simpson and Paul
Barry Smith. Both bride and groom are
from the St. Mary's area. The wedding was
held in the St. Marys Presbyterian Church.
Mr. and Mrs. ,Jack Conley spent an en-
joyable weekend at Craigleith Provincial
Park.
Garnet Starr, Chatham, was a weekend
visitor with Mr, and Mrs. Don. Cotton.
Mrs. Lloyd Smith, Mrs. David Rapson,
Becky and Alisson, and Joan spent. several'
days the past .week at Windmill • Camp,
Fullerton. •

August meeting Thursday evening, July 30
at the Library:
In the business plans were made for the
Bantam Boys Tournament to be held this
coming weekend, August 8-9. The first game
will be Saturday, at 11:30 a.m.
Plans were also made for the Squirt Boys
, Tournament to be held August 14-15.
A bake sale was planned to be held
September 4 from 5-8 p.m. and September 5
9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Library. Donations will
be accepted from ball players, families and
other interested people in the community.
The next meeting is set for September 1 at
8 p.m. at the home of Betty McCallum.
