Childrea of the Cranbrook area have been
attending the vacation Bible school at the
Mennonite Church east of the village.
Area residents welcome Mr. and Mrs.
Rudy Venstraeten and family who moved
recently from Welland to the former Ken
Miller home.
Dr, Henry Hagendoorn, his wife Kathleen
and their on Simon from Oviedo, Florida,
visited 'his brother Peter Hagendoorn, his
son Adam, and David McArthur for the July
4 weekend. -
Mrs. John A. Perrie, Mrs. David Perrie,
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Kirbby, and Mr. and
Mrs. John M. Perrie and family attended
the Perrie Huynh wedding at Oaklands
Presbyterian Church on July 12 in Laurel,
Maryland. The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. John A. Perrie, R.R. 3 Brussels.

chairs at the front, along with Sherri's
sisters, Sheila and Shirlee.
Tammy drjscoll read the address and
many gifts were presented to Sherri by girls
of the community. Sherri made a suitable
reply thanking everyone for the lovely gifts.
All the bows were put on an apron, then put
on Sherri as a tradition, later a picture was
taken. Everyone joined in singing For She's
A Jolly Good Fellow, followed by a delicious
dessert, and coffee or lemonade served by
the boundary and 17th line ladie. •

acquaintances in the area and were supper
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfied Strickler.
