quests the 'Province of Ontario to exact
legislative amendments as required to

purchased' land from the Doig and the
Bender properties for switching stations in
upgrading the system. -
Attending the council session were Mr.
and Mrs, Bill Holland to hear the discussion
on their application for rezoning Part of Lot
35, Concession 1, Huron Road survey, from
Agriculture 1 to Agriculture 3 and a portion
of the property from Agriculture. 1 to
Developmental.
Wayne Caldwell of the Huron County
Planning Department, who was at the
meeting also, advised council that notices of
the public meeting had been forwarded to
all property owners within 400 feet of the
proposed rezoning and to the government
agencies -as required by the Planning Act.
There were no members, of the general
public at the meeting to discuss the rezon-
ing. Mr. Caldwell outlined with Council the
reasons and intentions for the rezoning.
