After everybody had done it for a little while Mrs. Holmes put us in groups and she showed us how to really golf. Then the mothers took us ?round the golf course. First we practiced on the practice green. It was easy to get it in the hole. Then we started chipping. Then we went with our group and went around the golf course. Then it was lunch. We went in the shop and we went upstairs to eat. We saw a dog. The dog's name was Danny. After lunch we went to the Freeze King. • Golfing by Pat DeJong On Friday we went golfing. When we were going there Mrs. jLongstaff bought us some gum. When we ot there we practiced on the practice green. First we got to roll the golf balls into the hole. When We Went Golfing • by JerecIMunro When the bell rang we started the day off as usual. Then we drove to the golf course... When we gotthere we started to roll the ball. Then we practised hitting ' the ball as far as we could. I ahnost got the ball into the creek. The rules are that you have to be quiet and make sure that nobody is behind you when you are swinging the club. ' Then Mrs. Doig came out with a dog call- ed Dan. Then we had a game -I won all of them. One time I hit the ball into the creek. Then we had lunch in the club house. I had cookies and a fruit drink, and pop. Then we went to the Freeze King. I got a chocolate cone. Then Robbie caught a frog. Then we played tag. Do you like golfing? I do. Our Visit To The Golf Course by Debbie Vandenllengel On Friday, June 19 we went golfing!. It was fun! I went with Mrs-. Holland.: First thing we did was practice on the green. It feels like carpet. On the green you' have to use the putter. You have to be careful on the green. One of the rules was to be quiet so people on concentrate. They have a dog named Danny. He's cute. His color is black. We ate lunch in the club house. They have 17 trophies there and some medaLs. After I ate my lunch I went downstairs to get some chips. After we finished golfing, we went to the Freeze King to get an ice-cream cone.
