LYNNE DODDS, daughter of Don and Moja
Dodds received her Bachelor of Applied
Science in Family and Consumer Studies at
convocationat the University of Guelph
June 5, 1987. Lynne graduated with distinc-
tion, was on the Dean's Honor. Roll all four
years and received the award for Academic
Achievement in her major of Family
Studies, She has been accepted to attend
Althouse College at. the University •of
Western Ontario in September.
BRUCE GODKIN, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Lavern Godkin, RR 1 Walton, graduated
May .30;1987• on the Dean's Honor. List with a
Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of
Waterloo. Bruce attended Central Huron
Secondary School, Clinton, where he
,graduated as an Ontario Scholar. He has
now accepted a position with Zenon' Water
Systems in Burlington as a Design,
Engineer:
OFFICER CADET HELEN PATRICIA
ADAM, daughter of Percy Adam, Huron -
view and Mrs. Percy Adam, Seaforth
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in
History with first class honors from 'the
Royal Military College in Kingston on May
15, 1987. Helen is a'fernier student of Blyth
Public School and Central Huron. Secondary
School in Clinton. She is furthering her.
education in the fall towards a Master's
degree at Acadia University, Nova • Scotia.
NEIL WILLIAM JOHNSTON, son of Irwin
and Doreen Johnston of Seaforth, received
his Bachelor of Science Degree in
Kinesiology from the University of
Waterloo. Neil is a former graduate of
Seaforth District High School and Seaforth
Public School. He is presently employed as
an EMG Technologist at Kitchener -

ANNE MARIE KELLY, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Fergus.Kelly of Dublin graduated
June•8 from. the University of Western On,
' tario with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ad-
ministrative Office Management Studies.
Anne Marie is a former pupil of the Seaforth
District High School and St. Patrick's
School, Dublin. She has accepted a position
with the Hurori-Perth Roman Catholic.

SHARON WILSON, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ewart Wilson, Seaforth has graduated
on the . President's Honor List from the
Business Administration -Marketing Major
Program, Lambton College, Sarnia. Sharon
has accepted a position with • Charleton
Building Credit Company - Anden Holdings,
London.
LISA DAWN VANDERVLIET, daughter of
Peter and Beverly Vanderviiet, recently
graduated from the University of Guelph.
with an Associate Diploma. in Agriculture,
specializing in Horticulture. She is presently
employed as a landscape gardener at
Oakdale Golf and County Club in Toronto.

KEN HAK, son of Harry and Catherine Hak
of Seafoarth, graduated from Conestoga
College, Guelph in Business Administration •

Materials Management, at the convocation
ceremonies held in Kitchener on June 13,
1987. He has accepted the position of Inven-
tory Conroller at Russell Steel Company in
Concord.
BRIAN E. NESBITT, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Wm. Nesbitt, 336 Brittania Street,
•Stratford 'graduated from the Faculty of
Education, the University of Western On-
tario. He has been employed to teach wood
working, building construction and elec-
tricity at Renfrew Collegiate Institute.
RICHARRD W. NESBITT, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harray Wm. Nesbitt, 336 Britannia
Street, Stratford has received a Maters of
Economics degree from the London School
of Economics, London, •England. He is
employed by Wood Gundy, Toronto.
Maplewood residents put away shoes
. Maplewood Manor will be changing from
the winter sports to the summer activities.
Bowling is officially over for another
season. Pete Tremeer and Edgar Allan have
put away the bowling shoes until
September. Pete is now involved in wood-
working and Edgar enjoys the summer
pasttime of lawn.bowling.
On Tuesday the students from SDHS in
Teri. Brintneii's Family Studies' class ar-
ranged for a picnic at Lion's Park for all the
people the students has been regularly
visiting this semester. A delicious lunch was
prepared by the students and even though
the weather didn't cooperate everyone en-
joyed themselves. Dessert and coffee was
served at the Seaforth Manor. Thank you to
all the students for the pretty corsages and
especially thank you for the visits.
The church service was held on Thursday
morning again this week. Members from
the congregation of the Bethel Bible Church
conducted the worship service with direc-
tion from Mr. and Mrs. Lobb. Pastor Archie

Robertson was unable to attend.because of
other commitments involving his transfer to
a new parish. We will miss his visits and
wish him all the best. '
Thursday afternoon a group of residents
including Pete and Willy Tremeer, Gertie-
Taylor and Isa Stanley went to the Seaforth
manor for an afternoon of euchre.
At 2:30. p.m. that day Drusilla Leitch led
the fitness class. It was an enthusiastic
bunch that took part including visitor, Irene
Smith. They certainly made exercising fun!
Friday was movie day. Gail Hills was in
charge of movies. It was a' Charlie Chaplan
comedy called, the Floorwalker. Now that
the warm weather is here outdoor activities
look more invjting; so movies will be shown
on rainy Fridays and croquet can be played
on sunny Fridays. •
Until now we have always included a
weekly visitors.list. It has been decided that
a monthly visitors' would be better for the
facility.
