Frank Phillips' has been the Bar Steward for the last 20 of those 27 years. Throughout his years Frank has gathered artifacts. from the first war and the second war and made show cases throughout the hall,. in which to display these artifacts to legion members and the general public. Frank's imagination -and -handiwork is-now-beeorn- ing well known throughout the District with many visitors dropping by to view the dif-' ferent showcases. (As of the first of June this year Comrade Frank handed in his resignation.) • With Frank's retirement it would seem the Legion is starting to a new era which will see more of its Associate members leading the way with a slow decline in the number of Veterans" taking an active roll in the business of the Branch. Members of the Ex- ecutive and the Branch wish Frank a long and happy retirement and offer a special thanks for all he has done through the years for the Branch and the Legion in general.
