Manor treated to old•
tyme music
Seaforth Manor residents were kept
• busy this week with bowling at the
• Starlight Lanes, as well as the wheel chair
bowling aided by the efforts of volunteers
from the Seaforth Public School. Pat Ryan
was• ,anesonce again the wimier at Starlight
• Lanes.
Mary Finlayson and Drusilla Leitch,
• fitness instructor, led the exercises for fun
and fitness.
• Friday afternoon 38 resident's enjoyed
• old tyme music provided by Gladys Van
• Egmond on the piano and Elgin Nott on the
• violin—The-staff members -enjoyed a few
dances with the residents at. the end of
their day's work..
• Rev. Archie Robertson conducted a wor-
ship service, which was followed by a
social hour. •
The residents enjoyed: their dinner out-
. . (leers on Friday. Hamburgs and hot dogs
were cooked by Jackie Racho on the
- • barbecue. Ice cream cones were served •
for dessert. Everyone enjoyed the sun-
• shine and some of the lucky residents even
got a nice sun tan.
'On Saturday 13 of the residents went to
•, the Klompenfeest-parade in Clinton. They
had' a lovely lunch in Clinton as well.

• Local student graduates from Niagara
Sea forth resident Kristen VanDen-
, Neucker recently •graduated from the
Theatre Arts Program at Niagara College
of Applied Arts and Technology, Welland.
-The daughter of Bob and Barb,VanDen-
Neucker and former student of Seaforth
District High School, she.aspires to work-
ing in television or film,
Kristen said she enjoyed working in the
professional environment in the Theatre
Arts Program at , Niagara College and
gained a better knowledge of theatre.
In the 1986/87 Theatre Centre Produc-
• tions, Kristen worked as an assistant stage
• manager, an assistant production
manager and cast member. Her . other
theatre experiences include working in
"People Power - Against Toxic Waste"
and working at the Blyth Festival.
Kristen plans to further her studies and
return to Niagara College in the fall in the
• Broadcasting - Radio and Television
Program.

The McKillop No, 1, Sassy Seer Suckers
held their sixth meeting at the McClure's
home, •
After opening the meeting with the 4-H
pledge, club members judged pencils,
scissors and sewing techniques. Judging is a
very important part of 4-11. •
The meeting adjourned and members
finished work on their shirts.
"The next meeting will be held May 27
to -night at the Rumford's home.
