Authors' Dv.
BY DONALD BROADFOOT
On April 16 the halls at Huron Centennial
School were full of Easter related activities
much like a play day. The primary students
enjoyed these activities which were organiz-
ed by the student council members.
Some of the stations were bean bag toss
into a basket, an obstacle course, egg •dye-
ing, egg blowing, making egg automobiles
and decorative mobiles. Everybody seemed
to have fun.
Armed with a trusty tape rec order, your
reporter collected these comments:
Ryan said, "I like this a lot."
"I'm working with egg carton caterpillars
and enjoying it," said Sarah'Gingerich.
"It's fun, 'added -V ikTidc y T
"The kids are enjoying it, and I am too,

and talked about her work. The teachers
selected the best books from each class.
These students represented the school at
the Exeter Regional Author Day: Michael'

Burton, Fluffy Leaves Fluffdom; Hayly Lin-
field, Mortimer Mouse and the Three Little
Elves; Niki Phillips, All in a Summer's
Day;. Kris McNaughton, Emma Jean; Dan-
ny Purdon, Inspector Time; Duc Leong, The.
Very Fat Cat; Jill Carnochan, The Colour
Book; Heather Laurie, Where's My Puppy.
Along with Mrs. Carter and Mr. Siert-
sema, they enjoyed their day at Exeter. One
person said the best part was playing on the
urner: playground equipment.
Judy Horton stated.
