• FLORENCE RUSSELL
Florence Russell, a resident .of the Mit-
••chell Nursing Home and formerly 'of Twin
Pines, Mitchell, died Monday, May 4, 1987 at
the Stratford General Hospital, She was 95.
• Born in Hibbert Township, July 20; 1891,
• she was a daughter of the late William Dow
and the former Eliza Jane Love. (3In
September 9, 1914 she married Ethelbert
Russell. Follovidng her marriage she and
her husband farmed at Lot 34,, South
•Thamei Fullarton Township
• (Russeldale) until retiring to Mitchell.
•• Mrs. Russell—was—a—member of—Main
Street United Church and the" UCW of the
Church. She was a former member of Roys
United Church in Fullarton Township.• ,
Surviving are four sons, Clarence, of
Toronto, Wesley and wife Agnes of Seaforth,
• Lawrence and friend Margaret Miners, of
Exeter and. Roy and wife Shirley, of
• Russeldale; four daughters, Wilhelmina
and husband Robert Campbell of Fullarton
Township, Kathleen and husband Kenneth
McLeod .of Hamilton, Marion and husband
Frank Miller of Stella and Florence Russell
of Toronto.
• Also surviving are 25 grandahildre'n and
• 33 great-grandchildren; and two sisters -in-
laws, Annie Dow, of the Mitchell Nursing
Horne and Margaret Dow of Kingston.
Mrs. Russell was predeceased by a
daughter-in-law Audrey in 1967, one grand-
son Murray in 1947 and four brothers and
three sisters.
Friends were received at the Lockhart
Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mit-
• chell. A funeral service will be held there to-
day (Wednesday) with the Reverend Donald
• Pletsch officiating. Burial will be in Roys
• - cemetery, Fullarton Township.
As expressions of sympathy, donations
may be made to the charity of one's choice.

• EVELYN WILLIA1VISON •
Evelyn Williamson, of Seaforth and
formerly of Walton, died Wednesday; April
.29, 1987 at the Stratford General Hospital.
She *as 69.
Born in Drinkwater, SaskatcheWan on
August 22; 1912, she WaS a daughter of Mar-
tha Boevers Watson of Saskatchewan, and
the late Robert Watson. -
,Surviving besides her mother are, three
sons, Ron; of Seaforth, Ken, of Walton, and
• Gerald, of North Bay.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren;
three sisters, Margaret, Edith and Dorothy,
• and four brothers, James , Robert, Donald
and Gordon, all of Saskatchewan.
Mrs. Williamson was predeceased by her
husband Norman, one daughter Alexene;
Iii1I-ll-gFaTlllson; Stephen. •
Friends were received at the Whitney-
• Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth and a
• funeral service was held Friday, Burial was.
in Brussels Cemetery.
HENRY ROBERTSON
• Henry Robertson,, of Stratford:died Fri-
day, May 1, 1987 at his home. He was 86.
The son of the late John Robertson and the
former, Marion Sne en, he was born in
Bo'Ness, Scotland. He came to Mitchell at
• age 13 and•movet1 to Stratford shortly after.
• Mr. Robertson worked as a machinist at
the . CNR shops in Stratford and was a
member of.Faith Bible Church and the CNR,
machinists'union..
He is survived by his, wife, the former
Elsie Penniston, whom he married in Strat-
ford in 1926. The couple celebrated their 60th
wedding anniirersary in December.
Also surviving are one son, David W. and
his wife Susan, 'of Toronto; one daughter
Jean and her husband•Donald McIlwraith of
Kitchener; four grandchildren Allison
McIlwraith of Kitchener, Heather
Mcllwraith of Seaforth, • Paul- Mcllwraith
and his wife Carolyn of London and Robert-
son Barclay of kenora • one brother David
Robertson Of Montreal and one son-in-law
Alvin Barclay, of Kenora.
• He was predeceased by one daughter,
• Helen Baralay in 1983; two brothers, Jim
and John; and one sister, Margaret Miller,
Friends were received at' the Heinbuck
funeral home; Stratford and a funeral ser-
• vice was held May 4 with the Reverend
Peter MCNeilly officiating. Burial followed
:at the Avondale Cemetery. .
• As expressions of sympathy donations can

ALMA MARIE CHESNEY
Alma Marie Chesney, of Stratford, died
Sunday May 3, 1987 at the Stratford General
Hospital. She was 64.
• A daughter of the late Wilard Elliott and
Mary Charles Mrs. Cheat -key is survived by
one brother John 'Mat of -Stratford.
• , AlsO surviving are several nieces and
nepheWs.
She was predeceased by her husband,
Harold Chesney, and one brother James.
The family will receive friends at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth
until 11 ap. today (Wednesday) when
. funeral services .will be held. Interment

THELMA LEONE ROWAT
'Thelma Leone Rowat, of Seaforth, died '
Thursday, April 30, 1987 at the Seaforth
Community Hospital. •
Born in Drayton, Ontario the daughter of
the late Leonig Noecker and Lilna Hood •
• Mrs. Rowat was a member of the Nprthside
United Church, Seaforth Hospital Auxilliary
and Maitland Valley COnservation Authori-
ty. She graduated from St. Michael's School
of Nursing in Toronto and spent her early
years nursing in Toronto and -Bermuda.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd
Rowat; sons Peter of Mississauga; Bill of
Ottawa and Jim of Toronto; and a daughter
Sheila (Mrs. Carl Richardson) of Clinton.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
• Mrs. Rowat was predeceased by two
sisters Audrie and Genevieve and one '
brother Alton.

ALFRED E. BEUERMAN
• Alfred E. Beuerman, of Seaforth; died
Sunday, May 3,1987 at his residence. He was
470.
A son of the late Harry Beuerman and
Edith Eisler Mr. Beuerman was a member
of the Seaforth IOOF and St. Peter'S
Lutheran Church, Brodhagen. •
He is survived by his wife, the former
Melinda Hillebrecht; son Larry of Burl
ington and daughters Dianne (Mrs. Robert
Ahrens) of Burlington and Susan (Mrs.
Barry Lane) of Unionville.
• Also surviving are three grandchildren
James and Holly Beuerman and Kirk Lane;
three brothers, Harvey of Seaforth, Stanley
and Frank of,Kitchener and one sister Eva
Price, also of Kitchener.
Mr. Beuerman was predeceased by one
