• A community shower was held in the,
Family Life Centre on Wednesday evening
honoring Ruth Feeney on her recent mar-
riage. A program of readings and music was
enjoyed along with a contest.
Freda Kerslake read an address of good
wishes acid Mrs. • Chappel and Debbie
(Ruth's mother and sister) assisted Ruth in
opening her gifts. Ruth expressed her
thanks to all and everyone enjoyed a social
hour.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harburn are home
after spending the winter in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smale were in Kit-
chener Sunday attending the baptism of
their grandson Shawn Menyes, son of Ron
and Helen Menyes, Kitchener.

The Reverend Robert Johnson, Baden,
was in charge of Sunday's church service
and spoke on the theme, "What We Do
Determines Who We Are." '
The old and the new scripture passages
were read by Roberta Templeman and the
choir sang.
The cancer canvass has been completed
on the 10th and 11th of Hibbert with $332 be-
ing raised thanks to the efforts of Bob
Hamilton, Bob Norris, Dorothy Dow, Eldon
Allen, Ruth Laing and Gretta Miller.
Muriel Scott, Edna Stoneman, Agnes La -
mond, Helen Parsons, Mary Elliott and
Ruth Laing attended the Hamilton -London
synodical of the Women's Missionary Socie-
ty in Listowel.
Isabel Kerslake has arrived home after
visiting with her daugher Bonnie and family
in California. Sunday visitors with Mrs.
Kerslake were Denise and Erick Lizon and
baby. '
