Hazel Harburn was in charge of the
business when an invitation to Seaforth's

W. M.S. members are invited to the dinner on
April 17 at 12:30.
Eleven members answered the roll call by
naming one of the countries in the Southeast
Asia Study. Edna Stoneman gave the topicen
saving things, using a column from Enna
Bonbeck's writing as the basiS.
The study book on Nepal was taken by Ruth
Laing. Until 1950 Nepal was an isolated
country, not allowing other people to come in
dr their own to leave. By doing this they
hoped to keep evil influences out and to
preserve the purity of their Hindu religion.
The United Mission to Nepal now works
there, but under very strict governmental
control. Under penalty of death no Nepalese
person is allowed to change his Hindu
religion to any other form of religion.
A lunch of SL Patrick's punch, muffins,
and Feast Day cookies was served by the
committee in charge assisted by the hostess,
Huth Laing.
