Friday the 13th, Seaforth Jr, Belles met
Exeter, in Seaforth for the first game of the
Huron Perth Ringette Championship.
Exeter came on the ice full force, ,with the
-thought of winning,on their minds, and it took
them, Just 54 seconds to score the first goal.

Campbell who fired the ring into the Seaforth

Seaforth fought back and with a little over
three minutes left in the first period, Tammy
Nash scored to tie the, game. Assists. went to
Jackie' McNichol, and Connie McClure. '

Seaforth's Jane Rowclitfe scored unassisted
on a power play. ' '
The action was fast and from end to end.
At the 9:21 mark Shelly O'Brien fighting
her way down the ice made a pass to' Amy van
den Akker who scored the. third Seaforth goal.
Seaforth's hard work and great team effort
by, all players allowed them to defeat the
Exeter team 3 to 1.

High singles in Youth Bowling Council this
week. were Craig Harris and Robbie Holmes
•at 145 while Tracy Carter•bowled a 14Q.
High doubles went to Robbie Holmes at
270 and. Robin, Scarrow with a 245•, High
average is still tied at 124 for Robbie and
Tracy.
Season standings finished at Warriors 67,
Flyers 63, British Bulldogs 55, Turbo
Chargers 53, Jets 49 and Strikers 43. '
Junior singles went to Kurt Lindemann at
1.77 while Kevin Dick took high double at 309
and high average at 163. •
Senior highs went to Richard Love with a
285 single, 704 triple and a 197 average.
There was a good .turnout for the
Family -Twosome tournament where each,
child bowled with an adult. The winners for _
this tournament were Pee W ees Jason Hayes
and Frank McNaughton; Bantams Robbie
and Bill Holmes; Juniors, Brian Love and Neil
Beuerman; Senior, Richard and George Love,
These bowlers will all be going on to
represent Seaforth at the District Tourna-
ment.
Midgets trounce -Milverton
The Seaforth Midget hockey -team two more goals in the first period with
trounced the Milverton Midgets 9-2 last Milverton only . answering once to give
Tuesday to win a penalty laden series. . Seaforth' a strong lead.

8:30. With single points separating the four
top teams, the Junior house league playoff
games are sure to be exciting. The Whalers
meet the Flyers at 9:30, the Jets vs.• the Leafs
at 10:30 and the Penguins vs the Flames at
11:30.

morning house league hockey this week.
