presentshared a reading -comparing cultures.

holidaying in Florida. Cassandra Parsons
spent the week with her grandparents,
Gordon and Jean Parsons. Mitchell,
Barb Templernan, Toronto spent the
weekend with her fantily.

Beginning this year only one year policies
are available., Mr. Caers explained that a
policyholder ill sign a three year applica-
tion, but renew. on a yearly basis. The
' premium cost is guaranteed to be 'the same
for the three years of the application. ,
Directors Lome Feeney and Jack Harrigan
were re-elected for a three year term. Other
directors in' addition to president Morrison
are vice-president Robert Chafe, Robert
Gardner and Jack Hodgert. Company agents
are' Floss Hodgert, Joseph Uniac 'and John
Moore.

The rate of remuneration for directors was
increased. They will receive $90 Mr each
directors' meeting and $35for adjusting. The
previous rates were $75 and $30, respective-
ly.

at the Knights of Columbus euchre game in
the K. of C. Hall in St. Columban.
The winners were ladies high, Roy Swart,
who played as a lady', low, Frances Melady;
men's high, Ken Coyne, low, Jim Maloney
and Mamie Delaney won the prize for the
most lone hands.
The next game will be Friday, March 20 at
8 p.m, in the K. of C Hall, St. Columban. •

The Seaforth Atom hockey team partid-
pated in the Brussels Optimist Atom
Tournament on Sunday. They won two games
and lost in the last game. Boys from St.
Columban, on the team are John and Mike
Moylan, Pat Maloney, Mike Coyne, Stephen
Hicknell and Jeff Ryan. The team is coached
by John Watt.
Health services seeks opinion
The Iluron and Perth Emergency Health
Services Study Committee has been conduct-
ing a comprehensive review of emergency
health services in the Counties for the past
eight Months and now seeks public input.
Some of the areas studied included,
hospital emergency department service;
training of personnel who provide emergency
services', the availability of ambulance
serviceS; emergency communication systems
such as 911; and the need for an air
ambulance service.

hoSpital administrations, emergency room
head nurses. ambulance services, police
forces. fire departments and municipalities
and townships.
