" Queensway residents had an enjoyable
week, with several activities to keep them
busy.
The week began withBingo with the help of
the Hensall United Church Ladies Group 3.
The ladies braved ol' man winter to come
visit, and play the favorite game.
- On Tuesday morning it was once again
time for exercises to be the first thing on the
agenda. Residents spent a good half hour
waking up their bodies for the afternoon
activity, which was "Fun and Games." All
those who attended had a super time enjoying
a little friendly competition, while enjoying
each other's company.
Wednesday afternoon the monthly Draw-
ing Club was held, It is always a very creative
'time. This months theme was naturally, St.
Patrick's Day. All the drawings turned out
very Irish very green, and very good.
Thursday morning the movie of the week •
was shown. This week's feature was called
"The Bambo Brush." It was about a young
boy discovering his heritage, and the
importance of him• preserving it. '
Then at 2 p.m. residents had the pleasure
of welcoming the Clinton "01 Time Band" to
Queensway. They, spent two great hours
dancing, singing and clapping to many of
their favorite tunes.
Thursday evening residents welcomed,
once again the Beavers. All 19 of them came
to Queensway to visit, as well as plant tulip
bulbs for the spring. It was a fun evening that
reminded everyone Spring is just around the ,
corner.
To round off the' Week there was "The
Sharing of Stories" on Friday. It was a very '
special activity this thrie, because residents
told each other about their backgrounds: It
,was very entertaining as well as educational.
