The 1987 water management advisory board members are: Mr, Kaye, Grant Far- ' MVCA budget .approved Members of the Maitland Valley Conserve- , tion Authority gave their approval recently to a 1987 budget of $2,672,019, an 8.3 per cent increase over last year's $2,468,065. The approval was given 'following pre- sentation of the budget at the authority's annual meeting in Wroxeter. A breakdowh of proposed expenditures in the 1987 budget shows the authority's water and related land management program to account for 73.4 per cent of the total spending, or $1,961.473, Administration costs account for the next largest portion, $308,000 or 11.5 per cent of the total. Operations and maintenance costs are estimated at $224,000 for 1987, representing 8.4 per cent of the total, while the conservation and recreation land manage- ment program is expected to cost 5102,746 or 3.9 per cent of . total expenditures.
