Junior Farmers pulled the big upset of the -
week by holding Perth to a surprisirfg 0=0.tie
last Wednesday,
Dianne Vanneste Was the big reason the
Farmettes went home with the tie: She was at.
heracrobatic best in the Juniors goal and was
called upon to stop many Perth chances.
It was an exciting encounter with plenty of
action to keep.the faithful happy.
Coach Dave Vanneste prowled the Farm-

The Queens ladies, you see, were an
inspired group this night and must feel lower
thana gopher's livingroom right now. They
deserved more yet were the architects of their
own outrageous' fortune.
A. couple of awful giveaways that led to
Parrline scores and some shakey goalmind-
ing by usually reliable Norah Eckert did them
in.
By no means were Parrline undeserving.
On the contrary, they had some splendid
chances and parlayed a steady, if unspectac:
ular effort into a well -earned triumph
• The 'Queens did accomplish a • feat • that
no one else has, been able to do this season.

WINTHROP3 COMMERCfALO
The regular season languor continued for
the Commercial femmes. Winthrop tolled to
an easy three to non conquest last Wednes-

recent sessions their opposition continued
their long negative slide. .
The Commercial team had •a cheerful

limped through the regular season on a

Three different shooters shared Win-
