died Tuesday, January 6, 1987 in Lakeland,
Florida. He was 71, • ••
A•son• of Fred Dobson„of St. Petersburg;
Florida 'andthe late Mary Jane (Baxter)
Dobson, Mr.' Dobson was a well-known and .
respected citizen of Seaforth. Mr. Dobson
was a retired high school teacher anda past •
president of the Seaforth Legion Branch -156.
He also held other executive positions.
• Surviving besides his father.are his wife,
the former Opal. W ishmon; two daughters, •
Lynda (Mrs. Robert Binnendyk) of Edmon-
ton, Alberta and Christie, of London. •
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and
one sister, Muriel Casey, of London. .
Friends were received at the Whitney-
Bibey Funeral Home, • Seaforth where a
funeral service, will be heldat 11 a.m. today
(W ednesday). Reverend George Youmatoff
and Ftank'Sills will officiate. ,
A Legion memorial' service was held
Tuesday.
As expressions of sympathy donations 'may
be made to the' Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch 156, Seaforth.

iziella Christie, formerly of Seaforth. died
Sunday, December 28, 1986 at her Kitchener
residence following a lengthy illness, She was
85.
• The former Luella Thompson, she was a
member of the Trinity United Church.
She is survived by daughters, Gwen (Mrs.
Eric McCue) of Kitchener,.andAlice (Mrs.
George Richards) of Port Coquitlam,.British
Columbia: sister -Jean Jack of Hatriston and
brother James Thompson of Palmerston.
Also surviving are four grandchildren;
Christie and Stacey McCue and Derrick and
Tom.Richards. '
Mrs. Christie was predeceased by her
husband Beverly Christie in 1960 and one
sister Mae Thompson in 1979.
A memorial service was held December 31

was 82.•.
• Born at Seaforth. August 25. 1904, he was a
son of the late William and Mary Trewartha•
Ito farmed in McKillop Township and ,also
operated a hardware store in Seaforth.
He was a member of Northside United
Church. a member of the Seaforth Oddfel-
lows Lodge No. 55 and was a past president of
the Seaforth Lions Club:
Mr. Trewartha is survived by one son. Ron,
of Beauport. Quebec: one daughter. Barbara
Sander. of Huron Park: 'three grandchildren
and two ghat -grandchildren.
L1e was predeceased by ,his wife, the
former Evelyn Harburn, one sister' Lena
McSpadden and one brother William.
