Mr. Wm. Coats, he . has decided to place
plate glass:fronts;. and has ordered glass
from . Belguini, for the. purpose. The
panes, we .are informed, will be .larger
than any plate glass front in Western On-
tario, outside of the Cities. - When these
buildings are completed they will be a
very great • improvement to the corner of
the town on which they are located.

at the concert of Prof. Moines on Friday,
and while the local performers did very
well, the one with whom •the audience
appeared 'lest pleased was Miss Maggie
Foster, M Seaforth, whose singing was • of
'a high order, especially by one: so young
and unprofessionally trained, and we have
no doubt that should she again appear .
