Dr. Leonhardt, of Lincoln, Neb., the foremost physician of the Western States, has put'forward a new theory as to the cause of disease. The failure of the stomach to digest the food properly results in fermentation and decomposition, and the poisons aris- ing from the foul and rotting mass get into the blood and tissue and nerves and breed diseases of every kind."
