Tile spurt upwards in the price of
wheat was not of long duration, not
lasting more than a couple of days. In
some places as high as $115 was pail.
for fall wheat, It is now firm at about
about $104, the Brice paid here being
such as. to induce the marketing of Large
quantities. It is estimated that on.
Tuesday there fully 6,000 bushels of
grain -purchased bore, of this quantity
Mr. R. Irwin buying 3,000 bushels.
Peas are somewhat higher for good
Samples. Butter has then, a move
upwards, but we do not see any reason
for it' in tho English markets. If cash
was paid for it the price would be lower.
Potatoes are coming in more freely and •
are a trifle lower.. in
is greatly:
in demand and much higher. Al1'4iles.
