Mr. Frank O'Neil, Miss Bcele and Mr.
Clausin G`Neil left yesterday" to re-
turn. to Moonejaw,. Sask.; ' Mr.
'O'Neil's stay here has been more ex-
tended than usual,, hut he goes back
to business recruited and fit for an
even busier :season than ever.
Mrs. Trowse, a Clinton citizen for'
many years, on Saturday completed
her seventiet'h year, Retaining'inuoli
of the energy of youth she is, and
has been for near_ lv a score of years,
the enthusiastic collector for the
Upper Canada Bible and- 'react So-
ciety.

Mr. and Mrs. J. I•laroifWiltse left
on Thursday last for Winnipeg where
they will make their hone. Mr.
Wiltse has . bean located in the
prairie metropolis for:the past
couple of years and has a good busi-
ness there. To the very many
friends of the young couple in and
about Clinton it will always be a'
pleasure to hoax that prosperity and
happiness has come up to their an-
ticipations.

Mr. John Cox of Goderich township
was in town on S;;turday and the
number of times he had to shake
hands on his way up and down street
was good evidence of the fact that
he has very many friends in Clint-
on. This was Mr. Cox's first visit
hero since the accident, which befell
him almost two months ago when
he sustained a fracture of•the leg.
It kept bine in bed for a month,
longer than he had been "un -
dei+ the wt:'a,ther" for the whole
of the forty years before, but he is
almost himself again, wo aro all
glad to know.
Me, Arthur Forb.ts, who recently sold
his farm at Roxboro, has purchased
a coal and wood yard in Clinton
and will remove shortly to that
town. Mr. and Mrs. koobes are old
and highly respected residents, of
.Seafortfi and we regret very much
their remover but we heartily rct-
eomnold them, to the people of
Clinton as the best of good
Citizens .-Expositor. The above
