front of the motor.
The accident is the first that has
happened on Harbord street in con-
nection with a street car sine the
service was inaugurated recently.
The motor was traveling east back
of an eastbound street car. At Grace
street the car stopped and the chauf-

so great that a half-inch iron. rod in
the fender of the ear was broken in
two, the fender and the front of the
oar were smashed up and the rear of
the motor car was wrecked.
When they came together the motor
ear was pushed along for a distance
before it became disengaged. Then
it swerved around so tliat the rear
wheels banged against the eurb.
The street car was going at con-
siderable speed when the collision
took' place, but the motor car had
slowed down to turn. In the street
car were about a dozen -people, who
were jolted around by, the shock of
the collision.

No Man ts Stronger
Than His Stomach
en
A strong man is strong all over. No mcan be
‘,
strong who is suffering from weak stomach with its .4.,
s
. consequent indigestion, or from sem° other disease sl s.
of thestomach and its associated organs; which im-
• pairs digestion arid nutrition. For when the stomach
is weak or diseased there is e loss of the nutrition
' contained in food, which is the source of all physical
strength. When a mad "doesn't 'feel just right,"
_whenhe doesn't sleep well, has an uncomfortable .
feeling in the stomach after eating, is languid, nervous, irritable and. despond..
. ent, he is losing the nutrition needed to make strength.
" Such a man should use Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical
,
ViscoverY. It cures diseases of the stomach and other
organs of digestion and nutrition. It enriches the blood,
invigorates the liver, strengthens the kidneys, nourishes
the nerves, and so GIVES HEALTH AND STRENGTH TO
TIIE WHOLE BODY.
