Moylan of Waterloo and former ly of Seaforth, died of a heart attack while attending macs at SL Louis Church in Waterloo on Wednesday, October 26, 1988. He was 87. Mr. Moylan was a member of St. Louis Church, and had been employed as an agent with Dominion Life Insurance for 39 years, until his retirement in 1984. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary O'Sullivan, son Joseph (Kenny), and dangbtPr Denise (Mrs. William Weiler), both of Kitchener. Also surviving are a brother Father Frank Moylan, SFM of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic; a sister Grace Dalton of Owen Sound and three grand- children David, Michele and Anne. Mr. Moylan was predeceased by his parents, the late Thomas and Agnes Moylan; and two brothers, John and George. Tabor of Trowbridge, died Sun- day, October 30, 1988 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. A son of the late Lorne Tabor and the former Sarah Anne Johnston, he is survived by his wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Smart; four daughters, Linda St. John and Wilma (Mrs. Charles Straeten) of Kit- chener, Bonnie (Mrs. Eric D'Hondt) of Wilsonville and Elizabeth Tabor of Kit - WEDDINGS J. DAVID MURRAY J. David Murray, son of Ron and Theresa Murray of Dublin and grandson of George and Yvonne Ducharme of Mitchell, graduated from the Honors Business Ad- ministration program of Wilfrid Laurier University on October 30, 1988. He specializ- ed in marketing and financing. In his final year at Laurier, David received an Alumni Association Award for combined academic and athletic achievements. He has now ac- cepted a position with Adjuster Canada, Kit- chener. David is a former graduate of St. Patrick's School in Dublin and the Seaforth District High School. NIGH -HOWARD Judith Lynne Nigh and Gary Ronald Howard were married Saturday, October 15, 1988 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaforth by Father C. Caruana. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Laverne Nigh of Seaforth and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Howard of RR 2 Kippen. Matron of honor was Jill Marks of Vanastra, friend of the bride and bridesmaids were Chris Ryan of Seaforth, friend of the bride, Robin Kloss of Goderich, friend of the bride and Hayley Oulton of RR 2 Staffa, cousin of the groom. The bride was walked down the aisle by her grandfather, Louis Nigh of Seaforth. Best man was Dave Vanneste of RR 2 Kippen, friend of the groom, and guests were ushered by Jeff Howard of Collingwood, brother of the groom, Kevin Howard of Seaforth, brother of the groom and Pat Nigh of Seaforth, brother of the bride. A reception was held at the Pineridge Chalet, RR 2 Hensall. Guests attended from Burlington, Chatham, Shelbourne, Owen Sound, Toronto, London and Stratford. Vandalism in Optimist Park continuing The Seaforth Optimist Club heard reports of committees at its regular meeting Thurs- day night. Stu Phillips reported on Halloween night as he gave out seven cases of pop to trick or treaters. The park committee reported van- dalism is continuing as the outside lights are being broken almost as fast as they are replaced. The new committee, under Op- timist Mel Cooper, will look into ways of put- ting some sort of protection over the lights. The float committee, under Optimist Doug Stewart,are making plans for entry into the Lions Parade. Optimist Don Hoff- man, chairman of the home decorating com- mittee, reported the request to judge the decorations in conjunction with the Santa Claus parade is premature. Judging will take place closer to Christmas when more homes have the opportunity to be decorated_ Optimist Jack Bedard has made contact with the high school with regards to the essay contest and is working with the English department in this regard. The Optimist Hall is being used by the Boy Scouts on Monday evenings and the Girl Guides on Tuesdays, as the Club sponsors both groups. No charge is being levied for the hall. The dinner meeting is set for November 17 and the Christmas dinner meeting for December 16.
