It was close. The hometown Comets scored the insurance goal with just over two minutes left in the third period, twenty-five seconds after Jim Campbell's second goal of the game had ruttier Seaforth to Rolle Core scored a goal and an assist, and Don Heard added another goal for the Seahawks, who trailed 1-0 after the first period and 4-3 after the second. Paul Duff scored twice for Drayton. Both teams scored a pair of powerplay goals and Drayton also tallied one shor- thanded. Referee Don Wilson tagged the Turn to page 18A • Atom hockey team winner in two outings The Atom hockey team had another busy week. On Thursday evening they travelled to Goderich for an exhibition game. Seaforth started the scoring off early in the first period with a goal by Jason Hender- son, assisted by Shaun Anstett. One minute- and inuteand 46 seconds later Boyd Deavereaux scored the only other goal in the first period assisted by Henderson. Early in the second period, Goderich came back with a quick goal. The Seaforth squad decided the score was too. close, so came back with a lot of goal scoring in the next two periods, for a final score 8 to 1.
