began with the 4-H pledge. The officers were
elected as follows: President - Sherry Rum-

In this meeting members also discussed
the possible ways to reduce the calories of a
piece of meat by removing unnecessary fat
or baking it using a broiler pan or other
methods.
The home activity is to survey three peo-

ble fat off the meat before cooking.
The entire club helped in making Terrific
Tacos, which were delicious.

urgent family matter out of town. Her home
was checked on September 14 and was found
to have been broken into. The theives broke
awindow and ransacked the house. Among

According to all reports, members of the
Ladies Auxiliary and their guests, had a very
enjoyable weekend in Toledo and Akron,
Ohio. Two dinner theatre dates were on the
agenda - one in Toledo and one in Akron -
and were enjoyed very much. These trips
are in one sense some compensation for the
endless hours some of these girls have spent
in the kitchen and serving at Banquets. We
hope next year can be a repeat of this year.
