Natural resources ministry announces
1988 waterfowl hunter control system
For the upcoming 1988 waterfowl season night for the following day's hunt.
at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area north
of Clinton, the Ministry of Natural
Resources is implementing some changes to
the current' controlled waterfowl hunt.
These changes will facilitate improved area
management in terms of parking control,
sanitation and the disposal of litter. The new
system will enable the Ministry to maximize
hunting opportunities while at the same
time provide a fair and equal opportunity to
all hunters.
To hunt in waterfowl unit Zone A on any of
the following dates, September 24,
September 26 through October 1, 1988,
waterfowl hunters must:
- register at L15, C7 parking lot (across from
the viewing stand) for each day's hunt; and
- participate in a draw at 10:00 p.m. each

This draw determines the order of choice
for hunting stakes, not the stake number
itself. The first fifty-two (52) motor vehicles
in parking lot C7 will qualify for the draw
(unoccupied vehicles will not be eligible). In
the event that all fifty-two (52) stakes are
not taken in the draw, the remaining stakes
will be allocated on a first come, first served
basis. Although two (2) people may occupy
a hunting stake, only one (1) draw per vehi-
cle will be permitted.
Overnight parking will be allowed ONLY
in L15, C7, across from the viewing stand.
Camper trailers WILL NOT BE PERMIT-
TED. All remaining parking lots will be
closed daily from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
