WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The September meeting of the Cranbrook
Women's Institute was held in the Com -
amity Centre. There is still some confusion
about how the Tweedsmeir history will be
prepared for micro -filming. It has also been
suggested that the completed books be sent
to the Huron County Archives at Goderich
where they would' be more readily
available.
The October meeting will feature a guest
speaker who will show films of Japan and
give a talk on life in his native land. Visitors
will be very welcome at the Community
Centre on October 6.
It was. noticed that the improvements to
the kitchen are progressing favorably. The
WI will be sponsoring a contestant for Queen
of the Brussels Fair and sending delegates
to the Rally and the area convention.
