Rest is a True Food for the Body and
Strength for the. Spirit. Almost
Lost Art Now.
Tho absence of rest accounts for muoh
of the illhealth, irritability and despond-
ency that we find everywhere about us.
We can't eat our pudding and have it,
nor Nut we go on wasting our energies.
without soon reaching the limit of our
reserve power.
Better riot let it go on this far. Much
wiser to take Ferrozoue when that tired
enervated feeling is first noticed. Nerv-
ouscollapse is avoided in this way. If.
you feel need of rest, but can't get it be-
cause of overwrought nerves, nothing in
the world will do you so inuolt good as
Ferrozoue, which is noted for prom ptly
restoring perfect health in just such cases
as yom S.
Perhaps you wonder how Ferrozone
does this, The first result of Ferrozone
is a better appetite. Everything you eat
is digested and properly assimilated,
The natural outcome of this is the forma-
tion of pure blood, rhe fundamental basis
of health. When the body is given a
new supply of blood the emulation is
quickened. This gives the weak nerves
something to feed upou. They quickly
lose their sensitiveness and your old ir-
ritable colupanious become a help in -
steed of a drawback. Pretty soou you
begin to feel the vim and buoyancy that
Perrozoue always brings. Your strop gth
increases, you can work longer. toil
harder. els+ep better than ever before.
If half the pale, nervous people could
only realize how beneficial Ferrozoue is,
there would he a lot more happiness in
the world. No remedy applies so direct-
ly to the peculiar ills from which women
suffer. It is a specific for anaemia and
briurls a ruddy glow of health to pale
cheeks in a remarkably short time. In
all diesases arising from impairment of
blood or nerve tone, in cases where a
tonin is needed to stimulate appetite and
digestion, nothing is more helpful than
Ferrozone. It replaces tiredness and

"Ringing the farmers" is the latest
swindliug game in western Michigan. i
In the first act of this new -style tragedy,
a stranger appears cn the road near a
farm house diligently searching for "a
lost diamond ring." As he does not I
find it, he offers $100 reward for its re
covery. He goes away without finding I
the ring and shortly afterwards a tramp
picks up a. ring. The farmer who is to
be the victim offers the tramp $25 for
the ring, expecting to get the $100 re-
ward. The tramp hesitates but finally
accepts it and leaves. When the farmer
canuot find the stranger he grows sus-
picious and has the jeweler examine the
ring. It is generally worth about 15
cents.

A good story is told of the eccentricity
of one of Hullett's oldest school secretar-
ies. Some 14 years ago a young lady
made application for the position of
teacher for the school section of which
the gentleman in question is secretary.
, One of the first questions asked by him
was what salary she received in her
former school. The sum was stated.
He looked at her for a moment, plucking
up courage the while, then he bearded
the lion and promptly told the young
lady that he thought she was railing.
The young lady was positive. How-
ever she was put on but not at the salary
risked. She did not remain many terms
as their teacher but left for parts un-
known. Recently a letter post marked
Zion City was received by the Secretary
and the contents was an acknowledg-
ment by the young lady that she had
told him a lie when she mane application
for his school to the extent of 1150, and
asking his forgiveness.
One of the best attended Huron pres-
bytery meetings was held in Willis
church, Clinton, on Tuesday, May 10th.
A very satisfactory report was submitted
by Dr. Stewart, on church givings and
growth, over previous reports. Raised
for all purposes this year $40,590, last
338,761, which shows a substantial in-
ey crease; raised for missions this year
37,702, being about the same as last year;
communicants last year 4628, this year
4103, showing a growth of 80. which is
encouraging. A change was made in
the commission to the Assembly which
will be held in St. John's N.B., this
year; Rev. 3. A. Hamilton, Londesboro,
having resigned, Rev. Jaines Hamilton,
Goderich, was elected in his stead. A.
Macpherson, Iiensall, also declined as
lay representative tet the same eonnmis-
sion, and Robert McArthur, of the same
place, received the appointment. There
.. u
were letters of req est read from a dozen
clergymen from other countieal asking
to be admitted to the Presbytery,
amongst thele being one from a Baptist
minister.

SINFUL HABITS IN YOUTH
MAKE NERVOUS, WEAK, DISEASED MEN.
THE RESULT of ignorance and folly in youth, overexertion of mind and body
induced by lust and exposure are constantly wrecking the lives
