HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Huron Expositor, 1988-08-03, Page 3THE HURON EXPOSITOR, AUGUST 2, 1988 — 3A VICTORIAN INTERIOR - Inside Jim Dalrymple's home has something of a Victorian character, and he has filled it with antiques he has begun collecting such as this parlor stove, wardrobe, parlor table, carpet and hanging lamp. Although it can not be seen in this photo, the cathedral ceiling is 15 feet above the floor and contains four arches which help it appear lower. Corbett photo. THIS LOG HOME in Egmondville was built by Jim Dalrymple, who used the logs from an 1830's home taken from the Guelph area, and the stone from a burned house near Seaforth. He has been building the house for the past eight years in his spare time and has it completed enough that he is able to live there. Corbett photo.
