Legion B runners
up in slow -pitch
The Seaforth Legion entered a team in the
Slow -Pitch tournament held in Lucknow last
Saturday. Seaforth played three games but
only won one, which made them "B" run-
ners up. Blyth was the winner of the day, but
all participants had a good day.
Don't forget the Lawn Bowling tonight at
7:30 p.m. (Wednesday). After the bowling
John has hot dogs for everyone.
The Ladies Auxiliary is hosting another of
its popular Sunday evening dinners this Sun-
day between the hours of five and seven.
These dinners have proved very popular in
the past and I am sure they will be trying to
outdo themselves again.
There is no meeting this month or next
month owing to the summer break but the
first meeting will be September.
At the going down of the sun and in the
morning we will remember them,
Gordon Scott, PRO.
