BARRY TURNER, son of Nancy
(McFarlane) and George Turner of RR 4
Seafortli, graduated from the University of
Waterloo on May 27, 1988 with an Honors
Bachelor of Science degree (double majors -
physics and math). Barry is a former
graduate of Huron Centennial School in
Brucefield and Central Huron Secondary
School in Clinton. In September he will
begin a Masters (Meteorology)' program at
McGill University in Montreal.
WEDDINGS
WILLIAM ROSS JEFFERY and PAMELA POSTIAN JEFFERY, graduated together on
June 10, 1988 from the Master of Business Administration program at the University of
Western Ontario. William is the son of Spencer and Doris Jeffery of Staffa and Pamela is
the daughter of Ronald Postian and the late Nancy Postian of London. Both William and
Pamela previously obtained Honors undergraduate degrees from Western's School of
Business Administration. William has accepted a position with the Corporate Banking
Division of the Toronto Dominion Bank. Pamela will be joining the firm of S.A. Murray
Consulting Inc., as a Senior Consultant. Bill is a graduate of Upper Thames Elementary
School, Mitchell and Seaforth District High School. Pamela is a graduate of A.B. Lucan
Secondary School in London. They will return to their home in Toronto.

HENDERSON-CRONIN
Darlene Pearl Henderson and Jerome
Denis Cronin were united in marriage on
June 18, 1988 at St. Columban Roman
Catholic Church by Father Andrew Sipek.
The bride is the daughter of John and Pearl
Henderson of Sauble Beach and the groom is
the son of Alphonse and Annie Cronin of St.
Columban. Maid of hbnor was • Debbie
Henderson, sister of the bride, and atten-
dants were Ann Cronin, sister of the groom,
Donna Feeney, sister" of thebride,-Sgse r
Henderson, sister-in-law of the bride and
Shelley Underwood, friend of the bride.
Flowergirls were Krista Cronin, niece of the
groom and Dineane Greb, niece.of the bride.
Best man was Gord Cronin, brother of the
groom and guests were ushered by Doug
Steinman, friend of the groom, Joe Cronin,
brother of the groom, Dave Underwood,
friend of the groom and Bob Henderson,
brother of the bride. Ringbearers were
Christopher Cronin, nephew of the groom
and Darryl Henderson, nephew of the bride.
Soloist was Diane Greb, sister of the bride
and organist was Patsy Crowley. Steve
Steinman, friend of the couple, was Master
of Ceremonies. After honeymooning in
Niagara Falls the couple have resided in
Seaforth.
WOOD -VAN BAICEL
Carolyn Wood and Joseph VanBakel were
married in a double ring ceremony Satur-
day, June 18, 1988 at Wesley -Willis United
Church in Clinton. The wedding was per-
formed by the Reverend James Bechtel,
assisted by Father Dan Vere. The bride is
the daughter of Donna Wood and the late
Kenneth Wood of Clinton and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo VanBakel of
Seaforth. Bridesmaids were Adrienne
Gillies of London and Jennifer Wood of Clin-
ton, both sisters of the bride. Flower girls
were Kara Gillies, niece of the bride and
Maria Whyte, niece of the groom. Best man
was Tony VanBake1 of St. Columban and
usher was John VanBakel of Exeter, both
brothers of the groom. Following a family
reception at the Benmiller Inn the couple
left on a honeymoon to Southern USA. They
will reside in Toronto where Joe, a graduate
of the University of Western Ontario, is
employed, and Carolyn is pursuing her
studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic

AGNEW-PAPPLE
John David Papple, son of William and
Dorothy Papple of Egmondville, exchanged
wedding vows with Rachel Agnew of Ver-
dun, Quebec on Saturday, June 18, 1988. The
ceremony was performed by the Reverend
Harold A. Kennedy of St. Andrew's United
Church in Lachine, Quebec. The bride was
given in marriage by her father, who came
from Monkton, New Brunswick. Rachel's
sister Marion was maid of honor and her
daughter Mimi was flower girl. Roberelftra
ryweather of London, Ontario was best
man. The wedding dinner and reception,
held at The Ramada Inn in Montreal, was
enjoyed by 50 relatives and friends. Guests
were present from British Columbia,
Manitoba, Ontario, Ne"w Brunswick and
New Jersey. The happy couple is living in
Winnipeg, Manitoba.
