CECILIA RYAN 345-2028 Vincent Murray was a guest of honor at a retirement party given in his honor by Mur- phy's Bus Lines on Friday, June 24, 1988. Mr. Murray has given 16 years of faithful service, and never missed a day. Mr. Murray a HoLtis wife Dorothy were presented with ma ping thio chairs. Of handling people, you have tact NEW PRIEST The community would like to welcome Father Joseph Hardy to St. Columban where he will take over the pastoral duties of the parish of St. Columban Roman participated in a game and enjoyed the Catholic Church on June 27, 1988. Father Hardy has also been appointed the Director of Diocesan Commission on Evangelization and will spend two-thirds of his time in London. Father Hardy has acquired the services of Pastoral Assistant, Sister Rita Coyne, a native of this parish. A welcome is also ex- tended to Sister Rita to the community of St. Columban. FAMILY REUNION Seventy-one descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Denomme of Zurich, at- tended the annual family reunion on Sun- day, June 26 at the home of Gary and Ann Cronin in St. Columban who were hosts for this year's reunion. Several games were played with the children with prizes for each. The adults afternoon reminiscing and catching up on family news. A buffet supper brought an en- joyable afternoon to a close. Families at- tending were: Doris Meyers and families of Detroit, Jerome and Marie Denomme and families of Zurich, Clare and Marie Oldham and Brad of London, Wayne and Mary Gam- ble and families of Toronto, Valere and Grace Denomme and families of Arva, John March of Dimes The 1 i McKWop March of Dimes cam- paign raised $1260.10 under co -convenors Olave Little and Norma Dietz.
