performed in a recital held Tuesday, June 14 at First Presbyterian
Church, Seaforth. A lame audience was in attendance. Pictured

ABCA hires 10 students for conservation projects
June 20 marked the beginning of the 10
week Experience '88 Program at the
Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
Local students will be working on many con-
servation related projects.
Darren Tinney of Exeter is the Senior
Supervisor and will administer the pro-
gram. Darren affirms that everyone will
benefit from Experience '88. "The students
will gain valuable work experience in the
field of natural resources management.
Watershed residents will benefit from the
many projects undertaken by these
students."

Lisa Herm of Woodham will spend her
summer near the water while assisting in
water quality and volume studies and on
high ground as the agronomist assistant for
the conservation farming programs.
The A.B.C.A. will take advantage of Linda
DeJong's graphic arts talents to produce'
A.B.C.A. artwork, signs and displays.
The Exeter crew will be led by Carolyn
Hoonaard of Centralia. Tracey Oke and
Sheri Varley of Exeter, and Danny Oliver of
Kippen will work with Carolyn to undertake
trail rie'elnnment projects and other con-
servation works. Brian Leyton of Parkhill
will undertake similar projects in the
Parkhill area.
Experienced students provide valuable
services at conservation areas. John Leyton
of Parkhill will be working at the Parkhill
Conservation Area. Rock Glen Conservation
Area will benefit from the employment of
Thedford's Susan Jordan.
With lots of work to be done and lots of
willing hands, the Experience '88 Program
should be a success!

Notice is hereby given that the
Annual Meeting of
SEAFORTH
COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
will be held
Tuesday, June 28, 1988
at 8 p.m.
in the Board Room
of Seaforth Community Hospital
for the purpose of receiving the annual reports of the board of Trustees and of the officials and
to elect four Trustees.
The public is invited to attend
The by-laws of Seaforth Community Hospital provide that the board of trustees shall include 12
trustees to be elected by members of the hospital corporation.
—MEMBERSHIP—
The bylaws provide with respect to members as follows:
(1) The following persons shall be members upon resolution of the Board:
(a) A person who has donated or who donates '500.00 in any one year to the Corporation
shall be a life member.
(b) The president or designated officer of an association or organization who pays the
Corporation '25.00 in any year shall be on ex officio member of the Corporation for that
year.
(c) A person who pays the annual membership fee to the corporation in any year shall
be a member of the Corporation for that year. The amount of this fee shall be established
from time 'to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
(d) Persons appointed honorary members shall not be subject to fees.
(2) A member who pays his fees annually shall not be entitled to vote of any meeting of
the corporation unless his membership fee was paid in full AT LEAST THIRTY DAYS PRIOR
TO THE DATE OF THE MEETING.
By resolution of the Board the annual membership fee has been established at two dollars.
The public is invited
to take part in hospital
activities.
Refreshments will be served following the ,meeting.
