Seaforth Manor honors couple on the occasion of their 45th wedding anniversary
"Happy Anniversary' to Mr. and Mrs.
• Bill Scott, who celebrated their 45th wed-
ding anniversary at Seaforth Manor on
Wednesday, June 1. -
Visiting with them on this happy occasion
were Bill's brother Ross Scott of Maplewood
Manor also Leon and Ruth Rudcall of Sardi,
British Columbia and Lorraine Scott of
Brucefteld. Also calling to extend good
wishes were Gerrard Boon and son Jeffrey
of Brucefield.
Isabel and BM shared a piece of anniver-
sary cake with their visitors courtesy of
Isabel. Staff and residents also extended
their best wishes to Bill and Isabel.
The week's activities started last Monday
with exercices in the morning and in the
afternoon Marie Flynn and the Huron Str-
ings played for good old tyme music and
dancing. Several visitors were present and
residents enjoyed the afternoon with Marie
and orchestra.
Worship services were conducted on

Stadelbauer Sampa of Egmondville 'United
Church: Mina Scott accompanied at the
piano and a choir from Egmondville Church
also assisted.
Friday afternoon Father Caruana held
mass for all Catholic residents.
Bingo was held Friday morning and lucky
bingo winners were Denis Arney, James
)Nolan, Elmer Bakcsy, Bert Deichert,
Brill, Cassie Nicholson, Irene Omand, and
Ila Gardner.
Student volunteers from Seaforth Public
School assisted with wheel chair bowling on
Tuesday morning.
Saturday morning at 11 a.m. residents
held their Resident Council Meeting for
June, with President Patrick Ryan
presiding. Residents unanimously approved
a bus trip and picnic to Goderich during the
summer.
Visiting with Edith Jessome last Tuesday
were Mildred Jones of Exeter, also Les and
Karen Jessome and grandchildren Carl,
Shawna, Nelson and Trevor.
Mary and Bob Riley of Macteen visited
the former's cousin Kelly Lamont.
Visiting residents on Tuesday afternoon
were Don Morton with Norma Jeffrey.
Beryl Nicholson visited with Cassie
Nicholson and Bruce Papple visited with his
grandfather Melvin Hulley.
On Wednesday Winston Handy of Oshawa
visited his grandmother Mabel Handy.
Mel Hulley was out with his daughter
Janice McNichol for the afternoon. Audrey
Cameron visited with Verde Cameron and
Pat and Rose Altman visited with the
Netzkes.
Ann Wilson visited with Mary K. Ryan
and on Friday Mary K. was out for the day
with Teresa and George Simpson.
Betty Little visited with Norma Jeffrey
and Alex and Helen Chesney visite¢ their
sister Alice Boyes.
Ethel Heist called on her friends Frank
and Margaret Smale and Mamie Ross and
brought each a bouquet of peonies.
Milt Osborne of Mitchell visited his sister
Edith Jessome on Saturday evening.
Helen Hirley also visited with Mamie
Ross.
Visiting with Inez Spittal were Peter Spit-
tal, son Paul Spittal and daughter Nancy
Larone.
Gladys Ruston spent Sunday with her
family in Stratford.
Maria Grooved* was out with Elza
Ruston for supper on Sunday evening.
Visiting with Marjorie Ryan were son
Nelson Ryan, Gerry and Anne Ryan, and
Monica Jack and Peggy Ryan.
Sandra Morrison and Linda Ruston
visited their grandmother Maria Grooverts
on Sunday afternoon.
