120th Annual HENSALL SPRING
HERE'S HOPING - Julie Smith of Huron Centennial School in Brucefield doesn't ap-
pear too certain she'll clear the bar in the girls high jump event of the regional track and
field meet last week. She did though, and in doing so helped her school chalk up some
of the points needed to win the meet. Six schools participated in the competition.

Brown's lawnbowling
first in senior games
In an article about the Seaforth
Lawnbowling Club, submitted for the sports
pages of last week's Huron Expositor, John
Patterson's rink was wrongly identified as
the winner of the Senior Games Lawn Bowl-
ing play off. In actual fact it was Bill
Brown's rink, consisting of Thelma Coombs
and Dorothy McCluskie, that was the win-
ner. Mr. Patterson's rink placed second.
Our apologies for the error.
St.Columlban s i Icer
teams are winners
In St. Columban soccer this week only
three teams saw action. The Peewee team
had the week off and the Mosquito II game
was rained out in Grand Bend.
The St. Columban Atoms doubled Grand
Bend 8-4 in Grand Bend on Monday, May 30,
with Pat Coyne and Adam Nolan sharing the
goaltending duties. This was the team's first
game of the season. Scoring for St. Colum -
ban were Greg Van Bakel with three goals
and Shaun Anstett and Mark Van Dooren
with two each. Chris Marion rounded out the
