The nominatioe meeting was held last

ed on the slate from the floor. Nominations
may be opened by the floor at the next
meeting if so desired.
A motion was made to donate $1,000 to the
Charitable foundation to be given at the
District meeting April 9-10 at Hanover.
Some smaller donations were made and
passed as well.
A bus will be leaving Seaford Branch
April 2 at noon for Goderich, Grand Bend,

The Huron Genealogical Branch (OGS)
meeting was held Mar. 21 in the board room
of the Goderich Assessment Building. A
very interesting talk and video message was
given by Constable Jeff Sabin of the Huron
Crimestoppers Association.
He said the programme had improved so
much in a year, it was a surprise to the
Police. There is an 800 number to call, no
charge and there is one in Clinton. All people
have to do if they have seen a crime or know
something they think should be reported to
police is phone 1-800-265-4444. It is not
necessary to give your name - just give the
message at the time beat.
The regular meeting was held afterwards
with a bus trip planned for next month on
April 9, to go to the Ontario Archives in
Toronto.

Leo O'Sullivan of the Seaforth Manor, and
formerly of St. Columban, died Saturday,
March 19, 1988 at the Seaforth Community
Hospital. He was 75.
A son of the late James O'Sullivan and
former Theresa Gallagher, he is survived
by brothers, James and wife Ursula of St.
Columban and Patrick of Fort Erie; and
sisters, Lillian Johnson, Florence (Mrs.
Harold Glazier), Mary Burnett and
Margaret Whitton, all of London, Ella
O'Hearn of St. Marys, Sister Delores of St.
Jospeh's Convent, Edmonton and Agnes
(Mrs. Donald MacLean) of Egmondville.
Mr. O'Sullivan was predeceased by two
sisters, Mona Suitar and Irene O'Sullivan
and one brother Edward.
The family received friends at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth and
Mass of the Christian burial was held Mon-
day at St. Columban Roman Catholic
Church. Interment at St. Columban
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Stephen Cronin, Jim
Cronin, Ronnie Whitton, Joe O'Hearn, Her-
nian Klaver and Ray Swart.
