The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority requires a responsible individual for the posi-
tion of Community Relations Technician. The successful candidate will assist with the im-
plementation of the A.B.C.A: s Community Relations Program. Specific responsibilities
would include:
- co-ordination of the Camp Sylvan and Parkhill Conservation Programs (residential
education programs);
- development of publications, displays, demonstrations, special wants, A-V
presentations and other communications tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree or diploma from an accredited University or College In a field related
to environmental studies/resources management. (A teaching degree would be
an asset),
- Experience with, and an understanding of, the practice of resource management
and communications.
- Excellent and varied communication skills.
This position Is a contract position and Is renewed annually pending a review. The first
contract period, however, will be for the duration of 1988 only.
SALARY RANGE: $14,250 - 18,000 (9 month contract starting April 1)
119,000 - 24,000 per annum.
