Ladies Aid to host spring luncheon REIMSTRA-O'BRIIEN Lynn -Marie Heimstra and Terry Patrick O'Brien were married in a double ring ceremony Saturday, September 26, 1987 at St. Paul's United Church, Aylmer. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wytze Hemistra of Aylmer and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert O'Brien of Seaforth. The couple honeymooned in the Carribbean and now reside in Aylmer. The Ladies Aid of First Presbyterian Church held its monthly meeting March 1, with 13 present. Roll call was answered by a "verse" or "thoughts" on Spring. Dorothy Scott and Dorothy McCluskie were in charge of the programme, and Viola Lawson, President, conducted the business. Scripture lesson and Prayer was taken by Dorothy McCluskie and Dorothy Scott entertained us by reading several old poems, while ladies were busy quilting, during the meeting. The ladies have decid- ed, to have a luncheon again this Spring as last year's proved so successful. Lunch was served by the program committee. The Seaforth Happy Citizens met at the Legion on March 3 with 50 answering the Roll Call. Bauer Travel is showing pictures on several tours at Maplewood Manor on March 14 at 2 pm. Anyone interested is invited. The next meeting will be April 7 at 1:30 and is a dessert euchre first. Each member is to invite a friend and bring their own dishes and cutlery. A meeting and euchre will follow. A VERY SPECIAL SPECIAL EDITION COMING APRIL 27 OBITUARIES 111011M111111111111111111111111k 4111111.1 WILBUR TURNBULL Wilbur Evans Turnbull of Brussels, died Monday, March 7, 1988 at the Wingham and District Hospital. He was 91. Mr. Turnbull is survived by his wife, the former Jennie McGavin of Brussels; sons, Dr. John and his wife Marion Turnbull of Seaforth, Bill and wife Marie Turnbull of Brussels; and daughters, Helen Habkirk of Ingersoll and Dorothy and her husband Doug Lawless of Burlington. . Also surviving are sister Jean Buchannan of Goderich; brother James Turnbull of Peterborough; 11 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and two great -great- grandchildren. Mr. Turnbull was predeceased by one grandson Murray Lawless and one brother Andrew Turnbull. Friends called at the Brussels Chapel of the M.L. Watts Funeral Homes, Brussels and a funeral service will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. Interment Brussels Cememtery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Town and Country Homemakers. HELEN MORRIS Helen Morris of Seaforth, died Friday, March 4, 1' '; at the Seaforth Community Hospital. She was 76. A daughter of the late Joe Atkinson and the former Emma Evans, she is survived by daughters, Josephine (Mrs. Robert Nigh) of Egmondville, Mary (Mrs. D. Lewis) of Stratford, and Loretta (Mrs. Joe Moynagh of Toronto, and sons, William of Seaforth and Donald of St. Catharines. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three sisters, Genevieve (Mrs. Cyril Brown) of Kinkora, Margaret (Mrs. Jack Wallington) of Burl- ington and Mary (Mrs. Tom Flanagan) of Toronto. Mrs. Morris was predeceased by her hus- band James Morris, sisters Mary Coyne and Teresa Lane, brother James and one grand- son David Lewis. The family received friends at the Whitney -Whey Funeral Home on Goderich Street West, Seaforth. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church Seaforth on Monday. Spr- ing interment St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Nigh, Tom Nigh, Kevin Lewis, Danny Lewis, Robert Moynagh and Gerry Moynagh.
