During 1903 the aggregate number of
trade disputes, r:suiting in strikes, re-
ported, is 82; in olviug 429 establish-
ments and 10,564 persous, covering an
aggregate of 39.4 ays, giving an average
duration of each ispute of 12.12 days,
or 10.62 days per .ersou, compared with
72 disputes, in olving 500 establish-
ments, 6,863 per ons, aggregating 1,227
days, an averag:. of 16 days to each dis-
pute, and 5.53 d ys per person in 1902,

Queen's hotel and 'ss Annie Ardell, of
town were married t the Presbyterian
Church Manse on uesday evening by
Rev. D. Perrie, r. and Mrs. Fergu-
son left on the ear train Wednesday

the person of Willi m Netterfield, whose
death occurred at his home in Lower
Winghain on Tues ay in his 72nd year.

resident of this action, and was a
staunch Conserve 've in politics and a
member of St, Pa l's Church. Ho had
been suffering ft m cancer for some
mouths past. T e funeral will take
place this (Thurs ay) afternoon under
