There were eight classes for vehicles and the winner of the commercial class went to Lawrence Machan, Brussels for his 1936 Dodge half ton. Lawrence has owned this truck for three years, and for the last year and a half it had been under restoration at McNeil's Auto Body, Brussels. The truck was taken off the frame andthe interior and rechroming was done. This vehicle was displayed at the Brussels Tradefest in 'April. On lune 9 and 10 the truck was displayed at the Antique Car Show and Flea Market in lifford. Vehicles were chosen as "People's Choice" and .the general public voted on these antique cars. The first prize plaque went to Ron Mccachern, Orangeville for his 1932 Ply - month roadster. Second prize went to Don McNeil, Brussels for his 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible and third went to Lawrence Machan's 1936 Dodge half ton.. The truck will be in many parades and shows in the area over .the summer.
