WI members held their regular meeting in
the WI Hall June 18. Mrs. Leonard lames
opened the meeting.
A birthday party will be held at the
Callender Nursmg Home, Brussels, on June
28 at 1:30.
The WI will be catering to the Huron
County Cattleman's Association July 11, July
21 and Aug. 25 to the Blyth Festival.
The program for the evening of Family and
Consumer Affairs was taken by Mrs. Peter
Campbell. John Green of Wingham, guest
speaker, spoke on different cuts of meat and
also showed charts. 1
Mr. Green spoke on govdrnment inspec-
tion detecting drugs in the meat also services
offered by the veterinary clinic.
Green's abattoir and veterinary clinic
provides help in an emergency for problems
on the farm.
Lunch was served by Mrs. Lawrence Taylor
and Mrs. Reps Higgins.
