The Pastor's sermon was based On the
theme "Filling a Father's shoes".
The Bulletin reminded that the outdoor
service for Kippen and$rucefield will be held
on Sunday June 24 at 11a.jn. in Ilensall Park.
Apologies to the young people of Kippen
United;Church Youth Service whose names
were left out last week. 'I didn't have time"
was the reading given by Lori Dewys.
Christine Cooper led the congregation in
prayer. Psalm reading was given by Mavis
Turner.
Mr. and Mrs. Laird Finlayson and all their
family attended a fainly, gathering at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Pat O'Brien, Hensel!.
Seventy members of the Parsons family
gathered to honor their father Frank Parsons
on. Father's Day and his birthday. While the
family was there, another daughter, Mrs.
Mel Hubert phoned from Taber, Alberta.

Plans are well underway for 1984 Exeter
Fall Fair with theme being "Focus on
Corn". The regular meetin of the board of
directors of the Exeter A cultural Society,.

Concession prices were set for 1984 and
there have been many requests for space for
the Fall Fair.
The Friday evening program will include a
Corn Eating Competition along with local
talent and the Queen of the Fair contest.
The Arabian Horse Show committee have
received provincial approval to hold their
show at the Fair and plans are almost
complete. The Sanctioned Goat Show will
also be a first time attraction and they too
have received approval from the Canadian
Goat Society. The draft horses have included
dasses in their division fot Haflinger horses
which are gaining popularity in our area
