MOIR — DAYMAN
Joanne Blanche Dayman, • of Hensall,
daughter of Howard and Marg Dayman, of
Kippen and Garry Bruce Moir, of Hensall,
son of Bruce and Janet Moir, of Hensall
were married Saturday, June 9 at the
Hensall United Church with Rev. Stan
MacDonald officiating. Maid of honor was
Sherry Dayman, of Exeter and bridesmaids
were Brenda Dayman, of Hensall, Linda
Bedard, of Hensall and Michelle Dayman, of
Hensall. Amanda Dayman, of Kippen was
the flowergirl and Derek Dayman, of
Seaforth was the ringbearer. Groomsman
was Brad Buchanan, of Hensall and 'Greg
Dayman, of Hensall, Terry Bedard, of
Hensall and Darren Moir, of Hensall were
ushers. Master of ceremonies was Randy
Dayman, soloist was Marlene Mathers and
organist was Belva Fuss. The reception was
held at the Hensall Arena. After their
wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple will

Obituaries
WAN FOREYTH
Ivan Roy Forsyth, 81, of Egmondville,
died Wednesday, June 6 at the Seafoirth
Community Hospital.
Son of the late Henry and Elizabeth
(Huliston) Forsyth, he is Survived by his
wife, Eva Mae Strong, and sister Vera, Mrs.
Wilfred A. Glazier, of Clinton.
He was elected councillor of Tuckersmith
Township in 1953, reeve in 1957 and warden
of Huron County in 1961.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June
9 atthe Box Funeral Home, Seaforth with
Rev. Cheryl Ann Stadelbauer-Sampa officia-
ting. • Interment Egmondville Cemetery.
Britannia Lodge 0170 A.F. & A.M. Seaforth
held a memorial service Friday, June 8 at the
funeral home.
Pallbearers were Ernie Whitehouse, Leo-
nard Strong, Ed Boyes, Ray Hutchinson,
Bruce McGregor and Robert. Gemmell.
Flowerbearers were Alex Chesney, Ken
McLellan, Robert McGregor and Henry
Ziles.
Donations to the Egmondville United
Church Memorial Fund will be ^received as
expressions of sympathy. -
MAURICE ETUE
Maurice Etue of Seaforth died at the
Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday,
June 11. He was 75.
Survived by his wife, the former Mary
Roth, he is also survived by one son, John of
Waterloo and one daughter Therese, Mrs.
Louis Maloney of Dublin. Also survived by
five grandchildren and two great-grandchild-
ren.
He was predeceased by five brothers,
Wilfred, Levi, Elmer, Lenard, Thadeus;
three sisters, Edna, Agnes, Marie; and one
grandson.
Friends may call at . the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home, Seaforth until Thursday,
June 14 at 11 a.m. when Mass of the Christian
Burial will be held at St. James Roman
Catholic Church. Interment in St. James
Cemetery.

Ella Hulley died at-Kilbar an Nursing
Home, Seaforth, on Friday, J e 8. She was
86. -
The former Ella Drager, s e was prede-
ceased by her husband Robe alley. She is
survived by one daughter, adeline, Mrs. ,
George Cameron, of Bruc eld; four sons,
• Robert and Melvin of M op Township;
Frances of Seaforth and C vin of Staffa. Also
survived by three bt thers, Ernest of
'Mitchell; Clarence of F uillarton Township;
Wilmerof Barrys Bay; an 16 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one grandson and
one brother Edwin.
Funeral service was held at the Whitney-
Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth, on Monday,
June 11. Interment in Brussels Cemetery.
ROY CONSITT
Roy Acheson Consitt of Hensel] died at his
tesldence on' friday; June 8. He was 88.
Predeeeaaed by his wife, the former Ethel
May Zaphe in 1981, he is survived by two
sons, Jack of Hensen and Ray of RR3,
Kipper), Also survived by one sister, Emma
Farquhar of London; seven grandchildren
and five great Jjrandebildren.
Funeral service was held at the Hensall
Chapel of Michael P. O'Connor Funeral
Homes on Monday, June 11. Rev. Stan
McDonald officiated. Interment in Bayfield
Cemetery.
Quilt committee to hold contest
The Tuckersmith Sesquicentennial Quilt
Comntittee decided to hold a quilt contest
open only to present and former residents of
Tuckersmith at a recent meeting.
The quilt must commemorate the sesqui-
centennial theme and may incorporate the
new Tuckersmith logo and the judges be
chosen from outside of the/township. The
committee will purchase the prize-winning
quilt for 5500 and will conduct a quilt raffle,
with the prize-winning quilt as first prize.
Both groups and individuals can enter and
interested parties should contact a member of
the committee to obtain contest rules before
the Dec. 31, 1984 deadline.
Committee members are Dorothy Williams
of RR4 Clinton, Wannetta Holland, of RR4
Clinton, Audrey Coleman, of RR3 Seaforth
andMary Fotheringham, of RR3, Seaforth.
The finished quilt should be completed by
June 15, 1985 and the winner will be
announced at the official ceremony on June
29, 1985 at the Van Egmond House, where
quilts will be displayed.

Egmondville, son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Goodman, of St. Marys were married on
Saturday, May 12 at St. Joseph's Kings-
bridge with Father Ed Dentinger officiating.
Matron of honor was Lia Christie, of London
and bridesmaids were Cathy Thomson, of
Wingham and Linda Goodman, of London.

Groomsman was Keith Clark and ushers were
Bili Weber, of Seaforth and John van Diepen,
of RR7 Lucknow. The reception was heldpat
