SPS sees Loyalist play
BY'SHEILA BACHERT
Last Friday, Mar. 23, the students in
'grade seven and eight of Seaforth Public
School went to see the play, The Upper
Canada Challenge at the Clinton Public
School.
The play was based on writings from
different diaries of Loyalists who escaped
from United States and came to Canada
because of the American Revolutionary War.
It was very interesting to all of us students
because of the humorous and interesting
way the story of their adventures was told.
It was a good help to any who were
interested in what these people were like?
What would they wear? Also what would
their dreams of their futures be like? Would
they ever own a 300 acre place like the ones
they left behhad?
If I had lived in 'this period of time would I
have come up with good solutions to the
many hardships I would have to challenge
me.
Would you???
