Community
newsletter is
great idea
BY SUSAN HUNDERTMARK
Congratulations to Bryan Peter and all the
community groups who participated in the
first community recreation newsletter. By
itemizing all reported events in Seaforth for
the next six months, the newsletter is a
valuable tool for cooperation and coordina-.
tion between groups. It also provides
information about the successes and failure§
of contributing groups so that others can
learn from example or give help when it's
needed.
"I'm very pleased about the newsletter for
the first shot at it," says Bryan Peter. "We
got response from about 40 to SO per cent of
the groups and I expect the number will get
higher because some of the groups don't have
their plans made yet.'.'
If you haven't contributed yet, send in youlr
list of upcoming events to the newsletter. As
well as cooperating with the rest of the groups
in the community, you'll be mating the
Expositor's Job easier. If we know about your
events far in advance, there's a greater
chance we'll be able to cover them for the
newspaper.
